Senior Broadband Program Specialist
Emy Tseng is a Senior Broadband Program Specialist with the National Telecommunications Information Administration (NTIA) BroadbandUSA program. She provides technical assistance on expanding broadband access, adoption and use in underserved communities and smart inclusive communities.
Prior to joining NTIA, Emy was the Digital Inclusion Director for the City and County of San Francisco and served on the first California State Broadband Task Force. Previously, she was the Senior Policy Advisor at the Community Technology Foundation of California and a Program Associate for communications policy at the Ford Foundation. Emy was awarded the Charles Benton Digital Equity Champion Award in 2016 for her work in the field.
Ms. Tseng holds a Master’s degree in Technology and Policy from MIT and a Bachelor’s degree in Math/Physics from Brown University. Emy was a Fellow and Affiliate of the Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society at Harvard University.
