Lynda is the Executive Director for WinstonNet, a technology nonprofit partnership whose members include education, government, business and community organizations. WinstonNet operates 25 community computer labs throughout the City. Lynda leads several digital inclusion programs focused on digital literacy, affordable home computers and community tech support in the underserved neighborhoods in the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County, North Carolina.
Lynda served as the Director of Field Operations for the Connect Your Community program in Cleveland, OH (2008-2013) supporting seven lead agencies in Florida, North Carolina, Kentucky, Ohio and Michigan with strategic and operational activities to successfully meet the program goal of 26,000 household broadband adopters/subscribers.
Prior to joining OneCommunity, Lynda worked at Wake Forest University for 18 years in the Law School and Information Systems Departments. As IT Director she led several successful campus wide technology initiatives for faculty, staff and students.
Lynda enjoys traveling, walks/hikes in nature, books & writing and spending time with great friends and family.
