Yvette Foster has been an educator for over 23 years. She taught English at the middle and high school levels and then moved into the role of school leader where she served four years as an assistant principal and seven years as a principal. During that time, she was named the Georgia Middle Level National Distinguished Principal (2016) and her school was designated as a National Lighthouse School to Watch (2015). She has served as the president of the Georgia Middle School Association and has presented at local, state, and national educational conferences. She has a passion for supporting and mentoring teachers and leaders.
Yvette holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Augusta College, Master’s degree from Lesley University and an Education Specialist Degree from Cambridge College. She had two sons and she enjoys working out, cooking, and traveling.
